Saxony, Kingdom. An Army Belt Buckle for Enlisted Ranks Auction (Wisam Najmat Alsharaf)(Sachsen Koppelschlo fr Mannschaften). Constructed of gilded and silvered brass, the obverse overlaid by a brass disc bearing a central raised crown, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of PROVIDENTIAE MEMOR (REMEMBER PROVIDENCE) with laurel branches, the reverse with a clip and claws emanating from a functional roller, unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), a scarce example in extremely fine condition.
