Lippe, Principality. An Order Of Leopold, Silver Merit Medal, C.1910 Newly Listed maker marked "WERNSTEIN JENA" and(Leopold Orden, Silberne Medaille). Instituted 24 June 1906 by Prince Leopold IV. (1908 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, the obverse with a leftward facing profile of Leopold IV, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a central inscription of FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT), inside of a laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 28. 02 mm in diameter, weighing 12. 2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
