Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Navette Ring base metal and cunning in equal measureDATE: Art Deco, c. 1930 Striking Art Deco period navette ring dating from the 1930s. The term navette interchangeable with marquise comes from the French word for a weaver's shuttle, literally "little ship", and as such these rings are also sometimes referred to as boat rings (and this one's particularly boat like). Three principal stones, an oval faceted blue sapphire and two old Euro diamonds, are arranged in a line down the middle, surrounded to
