Polished Golden Amphibolite GA148 rare agate cut and polished on oneGA148 Golden Amphibolite rock, cut and polished on one side with a rough, natural back and a cut base to stand on. Dimensions at widest points approximately 130 mm x 75 mm x 35 mm thick. Weighs 396 grams. The amphibolite, most likely grunerite , has now been largely altered to hematite, goethite and quartz and it displays a beautiful golden iridescence. Also called "Gold Leaf Stone". It occurs in the Pilbara region of Western Australia on Abydos
