Het ligt in de appellatie Margaux in de Mdoc (Bordeaux). Kirwan maakt slechts twee rode wijnen: Chteau Kirwan 3e Cru Class, en de tweede wijn Les Charmes de Kirwan. Het domein omvat 39 hectare wijngaarden, waar vooral Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot en Cabernet Franc
